Ok cannot do my grandad on my fathers side as hes German.
My dads mum was from Cornwall( Only just found this out) My dad was telling me that they owned a lot of land many generations ago but then one of the family drunk it all away My mums family is easy as they are all Scottish. My mums surname is Arnott and and mums mum was Norrie. I thought I was a true Caulkhead but alas no im a mix of about 50% scot 25%german and 25% south west english. Bit of a mongreal |

I didn't expect that!
South West Scotland centred on the Lockerbie area. I have traced Irish and Welsh ancestry but so far no link to Scotland at all. I've also been told my surname might be German in origin. |
