Not bad when you consider the car has now covered a whopping seventy two miles since a clean pass MOT.

I have to say as soon as the new springs are fitted, it's going the journey, I really can't be bothered lying under cars at this time of year

Today I bought a new set of wellies for Yella Fella.

4 x Nexen N8000 95Y. These are mid range wellies and fine for the driving I do.

Cost?
£219.60 delivered.

Where from?

the Nexens are 18"s so well chuffed with the price.

I have Lassa Phenoma (from Bridgstone Tyres) fitted currently and they have been excellent tyres and was ready to fit another set but Nexen N8000 popped up as an option and reviews of the Nexen seem a bit better so thought Id give them a go.

Thumbs up

Eventually got around to fitting the 'Updated' curved type Rear Wind Deflectors today I received some time ago. He had to order some for his Tourer so had the Rears as spare which I bought - (Thanks again John).

Interestingly they advised putting the Metal Clips at the ends, in other words facing forward and rearward instead of in the top recess - works a treat!

Here's a couple of pics......

Old Type removed:

New Style fitted. (They curve down at the end now). Much better now as before because they had the cut-off if you opened the window the rain still came in:

This photo illustrates the change:

Thanks...

Today was the first dry half day off I've had for ages so I did the following.

Oil and filter change
Check plenums
Replace broken clips holding rear offside door card on
Replace glovebox
Fix rattling drivers door window
Fix rattling from behind glovebox/airbag
Fit new 6 quid LIDL mats

Fail to reset service indicator - have to re-read the instructions
