Awful things, those space savers (sorry, cost savers!)
The ZT has a full size alloy spare, the ZT-T did have one however it's now on the car as I cracked an alloy. Good old Hairpins....

Hello again all - don't worry, no offence taken and none meant, I'm sure. I've been at Cambridge Folk Festival since Thursday so haven't been able to reply.
On closer inspection, wheel does indeed seem to have a bit of a flat spot as spotted by Brian and I'm grateful of his trained eye. It's not perhaps as pronounced as it appears in the photographs but it's there and certainly not ideal. I'm sure another one will come along in time and I've not got a new tyre to put on it when it does so all is not lost. TBH, I'm thinking I may swap the 7-spokes for Unions in the long run anyway as I think the 7-spokes look a bit dreary and run-of-the-mill and I found a pair of almost unmarked Unions in the scrapper with almost new tyres. They didn't have flatspots either ;-) Cheers all for your contributions to this thread... |
