Default Where have all the 190s gone?

Selling my ZT-T 135 to fund purchase of a ZT-T 190.
There have been loads of them for sale in the club classifieds, eBay & Auto Trader lately.
Suddenly, as soon as I advertise mine. they all vanish!
Nothing post-2003 for sale with more than four and less than eight cylinders.
As much as I'd love a 260, it's well beyond my financial reach.
Is NOBODY in my part of the country selling a ZT-T 190?

I noticed there's also very few ZS180s on the road and for sale recently - I'd have liked one to have a play with, but alas I'll have to wait.

This will sadly become a more common thing.

Why do you think a 260 costs so much more to run than a 190? It doesn't

I see quite a few ZS 180s in Cornwall. Perhaps they're migrating

I think a 260 probably costs around the same to run as a 260

The point I was trying to make was the massive difference in purchase price between a 190 & a 260.
A ZT-T 190 rarely changes hands for more than £1000 these days, whereas a 260 rarely goes for less than £5000.
I guess it's down to the very small number of 260s built.

I want to buy a 190.
A couple of weeks ago there were loads of low mileage 2004 & 2005 examples around.
Now my car is on the market they've completely dried up

I was watching a couple on eBay the week before last.
A Typhoon mk1 & a silver mk2 that both barely scraped £800.
Great for the buyers, but heartbreaking for the sellers I should imagine.

I've concluded it is a lot more difficult to find a well looked after tourer than it is a saloon. I've been looking for a 2.5 V6 75 tourer or MG ZT-T since the start of the year and only a few candidates have cropped up in that time. I look on ebay, gumtree, preloved, carandclassic, autotrader, pistonheads regularly.

I am a fussy so and so but my main restriction is my other half who doesnt want a green car and the two best ones I've seen so far were a Le Mans ZT and BRG 75.
