Default Rushing water noise?

Been to my 2000 1.8 Club SE today and started her up, hasn't been started in about 3 weeks. She is stored in the under hotel car park at work over winter. She fired up straight away as always!

However when I blip the throttle there is like of a surging water noise I can here from the inside the car, sounds like somewhere around the engine compartment side of the bulk head.

I did I checked all the levels before I started the engine. Water was a touch low, I'm talking just above minimum.

Any ideas on what this could be?

Thanks Tom
