Default MG-R premium bumper - Fill in the gaps...

Hi guys

Underneath where the indicator sits on the MG-R premium bumper, there's a gap. On the Roewe version, this is filled up with the combined fog lamp and indicator set up.

In the yellow example* below, the gap below the indicator has been covered up - I presume with a painted section of plastic/fibreglass.

What have other owners done with this gap? Perhaps a piece of mesh grill or maybe you've used the Roewe lights?
Why is the gap there anyway?
Interested to hear what others have done.

Cheers

James

*I'm sure the yellow bumper belongs to a member on here. If you'd like me to take it down do let me know. Stumbled across the piccie on Google.

Mine has a chime or stainless mesh to match the grill

I was thinking of doing the same but also tempted to pick up a set of the combined fog and indicator lights.

I'd have two sets of fogs for those extra foggy days hehe.

The yellow bumper above (that's mine) is just a black plastic triangle shape. To be a bit different I got the spray painter to paint it yellow. That section doesn't serve a purpose, it's just a shape and part of the bumper design.

Hi mate

I had a feeling it belonged to someone on here.
It's a bit of an odd gap - I was thinking of either meshing it or perhaps fitting a tube on either side to get cold air into the engine bay although I doubt it'd do much.

I do like the Roewe solution. It looks like that's what was meant to be their first time round.

Cheers
