Default Unusual ZT-T

Not often that you see ZT-T 190 SEs. This is very striking indeed, in Rio Red, with Apexes, and full leather. Shame about the damage, and no info on history, but potentially a stunning car. If I was in the market, I'd be keen to find out more, despite preferring Mark 1s. Poorly presented, but potentially a lovely car, with some work.

I did send seller a message yesterday and the reply I got was 15,30,45,60k no belts

short and sweet response perhaps he should put that info in the advert
I'm after a z-tt after having a saloon diesel I now need an estate but a bit worried about the running costs of the petrol and cost of getting the belts done
would this car have gone 10plus years on original belts?

The belts aren't disastrously dear, circa £450, every 90k and 6 years, officially. A lot of cars have never had belts, but, it's a gamble. It will not have done any harm, but I'd be changing them as soon as possible, because the probability of a tensioner failing, or a belt snapping is high when they're old, and haven't ever been replaced. Waterpump should be done at the same time.

Thing is how many people have had engine failure that you know that never changed the belts.

The seats and the alloys must be worth nearly the asking price!

I bought a 54 plate ZT190 with 116k on the clock and it had original belts! The two back ones were like new but the main one was well worn.
Ive noticed on a few ZT 190s Ive had that the main belt can rub on the engine block if the tensioners are worn and I lost an engine due to the rubber eventually jamming the one of the tensioners/waterpump.
At least get the main one done and the pump and tensioners. Not worth the risk as decent engines for the 190 are hard to find and its a very costly job compared to a belt change.

I bought this one!

The damage to tailgate has now mostly gone just need touch up and bumper will need a little work later:

Needs a few jobs doing to it including a service and cambelt, services were regularly done for age before mileage reached until recently and it's now overdue.

Appears to have been a rover car to 5,000 miles then 1 owner until December '14, now me.
