Very true Rob, you tend to assume things are Water Regulations Advisory Scheme approved and such like. Still down to the installer to ensure any fitting is fit for purpose.
Thankfully the problem is solved as the Pulsacoil has a built in mixing valve...... which had not been set .

AND, back on thread, hopefully Phil has tracked down a suitable replacement bumper and if not i have found a second one that may fit the bill.

In follow up to the scalding water problem from the boiler, the heating engineer made a simple adjustment to the mixing valve, as it had been set to only hot water. Problem solved, a happy ending.

Hi Dave, thanks for helping with that. The trader (non forum) promised close up photos of the Wedgewood bumper on Monday. I am still waiting, but that’s down to him. All the best with your search for a bonnet in excellent condition
