Default Analogue TV change to digital

If I wanted to update the analogue TV receiver, to digital, 1) is that possible, 2) what specific unit would I need to buy?

Buy a hybrid tuner from a E46 or E39

You are looking for the hybrid TV tuner from a BMW E39 or E46, do an Ebay search but they are not cheap, £140+ 2nd hand and rarely available in the UK, the vast majority for sale on Ebay are in Europe.

Thanks. So were there any digital/hybrid tuners for the 4:3 screen ratio, as I don't want to swap head units.

Or - assuming I"m ok with a squashed picture, will the unit above still work?

Hi can anyone tell me if this is the correct box to convert my highline 4:3 tv to digital? I have put pictures of the one I have found on my blog at ...

https://mgztinfo.wordpress.com/2020/...al-tv-modules/

If it is - is it a straight swop?
Many thanks for any ideas.

That’s the digital tv module , straight swap if you have a wide screen. But I’m not sure whether it will work with 4:3 .
