If the unit had a known manufacturing problem with the EPG then it has never been of suitable quality. also if it is a manufacturing fault then there is no time limit for manufacturer repairs. You are covered for ever for any manufacturing fault.

Greeners - yes I've read that. It's still a bit vague though on the warranty front (i.e. just out-of-warranty).
Steven - the EPG problem was temporary and has supposedly been sorted by Sony talking to the broadcasters. Hayden Labs (Gerrards Cross) are a very good outfit so I'm not surprised they sorted your Denon out properly. They used to have the sole Sennheiser franchise in the UK - I bought some rifle mics from them (Sennheiser 816 & 416). Last edited by Simon W; 8th March 2009 at 22:11.. |
