Default Replacing 1.8 DMF with 1.8T DMF - any experience?

As I discovered that DMF for 1.8 non-turbo cars are no longer available either from Rimmers or Luk, I would like to ask whether anyone has tried to replace with a 1.8T DMF, available from many sources. I expect 1.8T clutch plate and cover clutch have to be used then, but even these are easily available.

Some times ago I spoken with an ex Italian dealer for a friend who had the same problem sourcing a non turbo DMF. He told me that, on some occasions, used clutch parts for turbo's on non turbo's with success. The turbo clutch system is a little bit heavier than the non turbo for obvious reasons.
