Probably best to see who turns up at the Haynes meet in May and take it from there?

We had an initial meet at the Highwayman Pub back in May this year, with around 8-10 cars attending, then another a month or so later (breakfast meet) and only 3 came along. Alan (Ratty) is the local rep, how about another local one soon Alan ?
Even if you wait 'til Haynes Spike, I don't know whether that will really indicate anything - better just to get on and set a date & venue and hope for the best with the numbers !! As mentioned before, somewhere on the A30 (Launceston to Okehampton area) is reasonably central for all Exeter, Torquay, Plymouth, Barnstaple and Cornish members.

I wasn't able to make the breakfast meet in the end due to work commitments but would like to try again at the same place! 😊

Still a good idea to get an idea of numbers in the two counties, there is a formula for doing it which reebs will happily explain to you. Breakfast meets do sound great, but I think most prefer the later lunch option from the many I have attended around London and the south. I do wish you all success in getting regular meets going,I know that setting nup a meet is a bit nerve wracking but its worth it and new venues can catch on

Drewesq, the breakfast was lovely, farm shop building very well presented and a huge car park ! An excellent venue really (just can't remember the name, sorry )
