Default outside temperature guage

mine starts off at -30 degrees and eventually goes down to the correct air temperature but if switch off engine it does it all over again,i beleive it is a sensor somehere down the front.Does anyone know how much these are and presumably easy to change

There is a sensor behind the front bumper, but in most cases this symptom is only due to a bad connection and not a faulty sensor.
