Default Fuel pump for diesel 03 plate

Yep, quarter tank of fuel and car dies.
Is there just one pump in the tank that could fail, the other pump elsewhere? Or are they both in the tank.
Just want to make sure I order the right thing.
Cheers guys.

You have one in the tank and the other is by the battery.

If the intake pump has failed the other will not be far behind as it will be working a lot harder.

Thanks for the swift reply. Wanted to make sure before I spoke to garage about the issue.
Just had a nose about and they ain't cheap, found MKON and am going to try one of theirs although I've not found a great deal mentioned about them. Less than a hundred and less mucking about than swapping housing with a Peugeot part.
