Zed is here!
Zed turned up in Fraserburgh this morning, asking for a lift round the continent in the ZT.
So ... we'll be leaving on Saturday, staying in Middlesborough at the cheapest motel in the world, then down to Medway M2 Travelodge on Sunday night before catching the ferry on Monday morning. Keep an eye out for us, probably on the A1, M11, M25, M2 route or nearby. Black (well OK, dark blue. Looks black to me) ZT, reg. plate says ZBR. Projected route = Lille, France (cheap hotel), Luxembourg (camp), Bern (camp at Lake Thun), Simplon/Grimsel Alpine Passes to Stresa on Lago Maggiore (camp), Venice (camp), Ljubljana (camp), up to Budapest and on to northern Hungary. Staying there for about a week, then aiming for Hallstatt (Austria - seat of Celtic culture), Rothenburg (Germany - where Chitty Bang Bang child-catcher scenes, and bits of Harry Potter were filmed ), Sinsheim Auto & Technik Museum (Germany - fantastic museum) before heading back to Luxembourg and Dunkirk. Will try and remember to get Zed's pic taken in interesting locations ... Angus |

May I ask, is your car sat in a company car park on Denmore Road, BoD week days?

No - it's my girlfriend's car - she works for the Roads Dept <makes sign of cross> in Ellon so it's generally parked up there through the day.
You'll know it if you see it - has Hungary and Scotland stickers on the back. Angus |
