Anything is possible! You'd can't use a BMW manifold as the inlet is the wrong side, it would be on the left hand side of the engine. Also they use an EDC16 ecu as opposed to the EDC15 that the ZT uses, they also use a CAS rather than an EWS for immobilisation.

Physically you could probably make it fit quite easily, you'd need to make sure the gearbox lines up. Then the electrical modification, they will be the fun part!

Easiest thing to do it to fit a bigger turbo to your ZT, set up the VNT and have it mapped. The stock injection system should be good for approx 200bhp.

Thanx for your answer.
Yes, sure.
but the m47 with 130 hp (german code ul: lower power),
does not have the pistons with high copper and chrome for temperature development above 25 kw / 75 nm per cylinder.
the heat dissipation from the pistons is not sufficient.
This is one reason why the mapped engines are less alive if you often drive at the limit.
simply installing a bigger turbo on it damages the engine also.
the engines with 160 hp or more have other components.

Bigger turbo shouldn't damage the engine if it is set up right and you don't push it too hard . And you are correct about the max power, the standard turbo can produce enough air for around 155bhp. If you want more power you need more air, hence why the highest performance maps do tend to puff a little smoke as they are on that limit of boost produced. Any map that produces no smoke at any time can't be producing that power .

You should probably be in touch with a proper tuning company if you want to get a good bit of power from the car. As there are some maps out there that don't have properly proven dyno runs and don't have the power advertised, just word of mouth unfortunately. Stock injection system is good for around 200bhp, you need more boost for more power.
