Well as far as I can see, mine has no bulges BUT it looks as though it has been smeared with oil and always has done so, so would I be right in assuming it's becoming porous?

If the oil is not being blown out of the O ring sealed elbow by the intercooler and there is no other obvious source, then it will be porous.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Still nothing onthe site. I couid do with one before the 12 July as Andy Willi is coming to check out an oil leak and I'm sure that the oil is coming from this pipe.

Unhappy

Mine is oily too and has a slight bulge - hope it becomes available soon... 66k on the clock. If it burst what damage would it do? Would it still drive home?

Plumes of smoke due to overfueling and lack of power.
No damage

Mines done 192K

Have to get the bonnet up look at the pipe and have someone give it some revs then, so how much is a replacement?

By the way it's an even coating all over the pipe not just in one particular area.
