I have connected it, but it does not seem to be working on the steering wheels side. Stereo is working fine.....

I'm afraid I am not too familiar with that brand of adapter.. And I think it depends on what Radio it had originally as some a IR Controlled. These are the ones I normally use with the corresponding Patch Lead http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/steer...47_87_197.html

I'm sure someone more familiar with the Facelift model will be along shortly... Sorry.

The patch lead looks like it's for the older model car mate, I am sure yours is the IR type

Hi,

The infra red system was only used in the Mg's fitted with Kenwood head units.
Pretty sure they were never fitted to the 75's

I think you need the connects2 part: CTSRV006 plus CTSONYLEAD

Fare enough, all I know is when I purchased my patch lead to use the steering remote with my pioneer head unit I came across 2 different types for the 75 one for the MK1 and one for the MK2 mine was made by autoleads and works perfect. It will also depend on if the actual stereo allows for the use of a wired remote

Check Armour Automotive out for their version.
