Want to Buy A New 75 Again
Hello Everyone,
I sold my old 75 1.5 years ago and bought 2016 Seat Ibiza. These cars are completely different and i missed my 75 again because of its comfort. Looking for Rover 75 or Jaguar X-Type, but I am so confused nowadays and haven't decided yet. Could you help me on this decision? Also my old 75 was 1.8 non-turbo and i have seen head gasket failure couple of times. So which engine is more durable? 1.8 non-turbo, 1.8 turbo 2.0 2.5 Looking for your advices. Thanks, Huseyin.

I have had my 1.8 non turbo for 6 years now & no problems with simple checks, ie:- coolant level coolant fan working & I always use the OBD temperature gauge

V6 2.5 Connoisseur Cowley built (1999-2000: real burr walnut & extreme quality leather) are very reliable but 2 downsides: 'a little' more thirsty than the others and the belts changing comes at a price every 6 years.
Beyond that they are a blessing to drive!
