Default Going back to Standard CDti Air Duct

Decided to revert back to the standard set up as I am fitting a new Bosch Maf and standard unmodified Air duct as I chopped mine way back a few years as as a lot of us did but current thinking was it was the wrong thing to do . Also discarding the K&L filter and going for the standard one plus a 160 remap

You will be most happy with the result. You will wonder why you cut it off on the first place.

Received my Bosch Maf from Germany today, its the genuine one as recommended by Marinabrian and I have posted off my ECU to be remapped. Incidentally, I viewed the video on the site where I got the Maf and they stated it may take 30 miles or so for the ECU to adjust to the new Maf

Refitted the ECU remapped by Marinabrian(many thanks) and fitted a new recommended Bosch MAF . Also replaced the modified Air duct for a standard one plus I discarded the K&L filter for a standard one and removed the synergy 2. The car is performance is transformed with much improved torque
and power

Fabulous Brian, the cars should have left the factory like it. Just makes it more 'driveable'. To have an upgrade like this without compromising the engine or anything else is well worth doing.
