Morning all, It's a wet cold day, the rain has been hammering against the bedroom window through the night thankfully the wind & rain have finally stopped now.

Cool

Morning all.

11 degrees here. Somewhat grey out there.

Still struggling with this perishing cold.. The plus side is I can sit by the window and watch the birds, and there are lots of the little ones, in the garden and on the feeders.

Cool

It's gone from torrential rain and blowing a gale, to blue sky and lovely sunshine, and back to heavy rain.

Stayed in all day again and got a few more cards written out to send off.

Got the last of my chicken casserole for dinner tonight.

Evening all, It's been a right miserable dismal dark day, the forecast rain never arrived.
Been over to Wigan to see one of our friends who has just come out of hospital and that's been it today.
Faggots for tea (special offer on in town so the freezer drawers full) with mashed spuds,carrots/swede mash, sweetcorn & green beans for tea.

Evening all, well we were meant to get snow, ice and freezing rain from 3 pm yesterday. Mother called off going out for her birthday lunch because of it,and it didn't come until about 5pm, so we had an Indian takeaway instead. My regular restaurant/takeaway has changed ownership and staff since my last visit, so we'll see how things go, as to whether or not I change. Today has been milder and ice free, so we went to visit mum, as today is her actual birthday. Not a happy chap, too many customers taking the pi.. with payment.
I gave my bank details to ones I used to be constantly chasing for money, and they still take the p. Im waiting for one to pay 2 lots from a fortnight ago, and another 2 to pay from 3 weeks ago. That complete with 2 from last week amounts to well over 150 quid. Ihave had my fill of them now, next time if they don't pay, Im not going back until they do.No more Mr Pushover.

Good morning all, good morning Richard. I have never seen you as a push over. I like your stance of being tough on the “can’t pay, won’t pay trash”....

24C today and the 4x4 is being collected to have the rear shocks and springs replaced.

A quick head in the room before departing for the daft o'clock school run again.
Damp and cold up here, but at least no frost and the biting cold wind from the weekend has disappeared I'm pleased to say.

Morning Peeps,

Norfolk bound today, looks like the weather is set fair for a change.

Will be moving the boat to a side on pontoon mooring like we used to have, now that one has now become available which is large enough to accommodate Lady Emma.

Zed the Ted will get to check the new vessel out for the first time. Hope he approves
