Morning all, What a grey day! The Beeb says 96% of rain shortly, as if we've not had enough lately.

Sorry to hear about Ivy not being well Jeff and that must have been a heck of a shock with the deer. Hope the bill & repairs aren't too bad.

Have always used the same garage Richard. Just depends on how much they quote.
If it's too much I will go through my insurance and then no doubt main dealer it will be.

Remember my main Audi dealer is also one of my clients so I should get reasonably well looked after...........I hope

Evening all, The weather cleared up after dinner & I actually got the lawns mowed & garden borders tidied up.
I made chicken fried rice for t'other two & I had one of those containers of home made soup out of the freezer for tea & made some fresh dumplings with it.

What's the latest on Ivy and the car then Jeff? My aunt has been transferred to a cottage hospital about 30 miles west of me, for palliative care. Sadly this is where she will end her days, there is no way she can get home. The plan was to move her to a hospice, but all the local ones are full, and no beds available.
So this morning she decided to go home with care being provided by a hospice at home. Turns out they didn't have the resources to provide round the clock care, so this is what we have had to accept. Handy for her friends, as its closer than the hospital she was in, but further out for us.

Good morning Richard, 30 miles is quite a hike, but it is something beyond your control. How are you coping?
