Have you tried MS's troubleshooter. Click

Yes I've tried them all, the MS trouble shooter, the update manager, the microsoft update assistant, the virtual update assistant, They all altered the registry to some degree to no avail

The virtual assistant said the features update failures (9 of them) were down to intel drivers being out of date, I checked each one manually and the system says I'm already using the latest available drivers so I cant update those to newer ones as I'm using the newest

I gather the other failures are down to the changes they made in my registry as they have rendered these PC's useless as they hog the machine for hours & hours just continually try to update them as "My machine is missing important security and system updates"......you don't say

I'm not going to even bother with Win 10 any more and I'm resigned to the fact that I'll lose all the music recording software I bought as I just cant find the proof of purchases/CD's from over 6 years ago.

I've got two SSD's with Linux & Ubuntu on to replace the two Win 10 OS,(one PC was bought new with Win 10 activated the other PC was upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10. I can safely say I wont be bothering with Microsoft's nonsense ever again Linux has worked flawlessly for me for years.

It's nothing I've done to these PC's! They're all factory standard, There are lots & lots of people online with the same problem as me., Lots with audio problems too after attempting updates. The countdown to the support ending for the early versions of Win 10 is November 12th.

Well that’s the fbh fitted and working, although I’m hot happy with the amount of heat transferring through the body of the unit! I’ll fire it up tomorrow and see if it gets hot again, if so it’ll be coming off and getting a service.
