mike i am not complaining ,My thought is that the glow pin will work and was only pointing out what was in the sales info. I would like to know if anyone has used the kit as it would be my option if i need a new glowpin.I am currently trying an alternative Dosing pump that is far cheaper than the Webasto unit bur will use it for a while before i recomend it to anyone .

Hello guys,

This is great thread.
I successfully retrofitted FBH following this thread.

When i connected everything FBH started working and began smoking after a while, so i turned it off by pulling out connector.

After that my FBH is not turning on, it just starts its water pump and it is on for 120 seconds, than it stops for 5 seconds and again turns on for 120 seconds and turns off, without producing any heat.

Do you have any ideas what is going on?
Obviously, fuel pump is working (there was white smoke first time i turned it on).

Thanks

That sounds very much like the PCB is faulty, which is a common problem. Frenchmike can repair them for a small fee.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

This is perfect HOW TO and it is a pity that pics have disappeared.
Can anyone resubmit the pictures so other users can do the service of the FBH in the future?

Thanks you all for this thread.

There are add-ons for both Firefox and Chrome, which bypass Photobucket's attempts to block the photos.

Hi to all,

Because I found a lot of valuable info on this forum, thanks to all the users who contributed, I registered to post a pdf of Harry's great post with the images that don't appear anymore. All the thanks go to him, I just took my time to compile a pdf from his post, I hope you are ok with it.

I don't have a rover, sorry for this, I have a renault laguna 3 with a completely dead webasto thermo top E, I have to take it off the car and see what is wrong with it, but with the info from this forum I kind of know where to look.
