Just out of interest, when you write do you have the paper at an angle rather than square in front of you?

I prefer the paper angled, if I'm honest.

If I have the paper set straight then my writing goes off at angles

So I have the paper at a 45% angle to compensate

Born left handed, forced to write right handed by tieing my left behind my back at school. My father went up to school to complain, but it made no difference. I now write (terrible hand writiing) right handed, but I am ambidextrous for most other things and can use both hands independently when working.

I like to write with the paper at around 30 deg, when I do hand write, but usually try my best to avoid it. I would much rather type, than write because my hand is so bad.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

So sorry to hear that harry, they didn't go quite that far with me made me put hand behind back sorry your dad wasn't quite the force of nature my long departed mother was.
As to origin of the term cuddy after I grew up in north Devon and it was prevalent there also in north of England and scotland I believe.
To those who were forced to change and those who remain ,cursed, we have a song written for us.

It'swhacky and a bit x rated but great fun so look for Dory Previn an American folk singer who had a very acute humourous understanding of the human condition, anyway the song is Left Hand Lost and many of her other songs are worth listening to, I went to the Albert Hall to hear her and it was brilliant
Enjoy
