Well I did make discreet enquiries but was told under new health and safety regs unless everyone not eating that delicacy has a gas mask available they are not permitted to serve them so I don't feel we can put others to the expense, so no not on the menu sorry:getmecoat

Although you did not post this as a "quote" response, I assume you are referring to my post regarding a traditional Christmas breakfast.
I had contemplated breaking the habit of a lifetime and rising early enough to arrive at a breakfast meet.
As you are unable to guarantee my breakfast requirement, I think I'll stick to my usual routine and arrive for afternoon tea.

Sorry for not quoting the original message and sorry the restaurant can't oblige you on this occasion but you will be welcome sans sprouts at any meet I organise just for the pleasure of seeing the rare moonstone tourer, it will have pride of place at the meet I,m sure.
Perhaps you could make a sprouts pâté to spread on your toast I think the management would allow that as once cooked the health risk is only to the consumer as the after effects will take several hours to appear and no longer in the restaurant

The weather today although a bit nippyvwas dry until aroud 3 pm and we had 18 cars in all and 20 plus for a excellent breakfast which all seemed to enjoy greatly.
Several cars recieved the blessings of T4 and went away happier a sticky key was freed and the chat was cheerful and friendly with some humorous comments thrown in for good measure. I tank all those who attended and look forward to seeing you all ion the New Year at the Ely and the following month at The Kings Arms hopefully I knowe many pics were taken and be posted on Facebook so here is my modest contribution. May I take this opportunity to wish all club members a happy and safe holiday and a healthy and good new year to come
