Default Heated seats - please help!

Hi guys

I'm trying to retrofit heated seats. Full loom was already present.

The switches illuminate when operated.
The 20amp fuse (passenger side) has got power both sides of it.
I've checked the multi plug under the passenger seat and I've got permanent live feed to the orange and yellow wire ignition off.
Ignition on, i've got a live feed at the orange and white wire.
Engine on, i've got no feed from the yellow wire.
Any ideas?

Can't see why, but try a battery reset just in-case something is confused, although I would assume it was disconnected when you fitted anyway.
Mine worked off the bat.

Hi bud

Thanks for your response. Not sure how thatd effect it but we have disconnected it and no joy.

I've done a little more digging on the switch.
The black wire is showing a good earth.
I've a live feed into the switch through one of the centre wires but when the switch is operated I've got no feed out of the plain yellow wire which I've traced to the seat.
My current thinking... should I have another feed into one of those centre wires from a thermostat to regulate seat heat as I'm fitting non standard seats?

Just incase this affects anything, I've not actually plugged in the wires into a seat standard or otherwise. Just checking the feeds at the moment before I go ahead.

Cheers

I don't know if this is going to make me sound daft, but when you're saying you're not getting a feed to the yellow are you expecting to get 12v out? It's a switched ground out of the switch, so the yellow is going to be a ground when the light is on, not a live.
