The parking aid ECU communicated through the K-Bus (Pin 4 on the Ecu). Off the top of my head I believe it is a white wire with a red stripe, and yellow dots every so often. But I'm sure someone can confirm the colour . There is a cable which is in pin 8 of the parking ecu which goes to pin 13 of the IPK which is red with a green stripe.

Have you checked the sounder works in your IPK?

Yes the sounder is working - both the door open lights on chime and the Hans Gauge beep are working - the sensors are clicking and i have swopped out the parking ECU, the reversing lights are working so the reverse switch is fine. It did work on first fitting of a new Parking ECU but ceased working soon after.

So am stumped as no sound at all ( not even the annoying long bleep) when engaging reverse gear - so am thinking is it something at the front of the car -faulty connection from Fuse 2 ?
