Try GO to my PC.....you can intheory connect to your PC from any PC in the world.

this is both Mac and PC based... Although the easy option is to get some kind of cheap box for your end that he could log into. I would reccommend something like an old PowerMac G4, which you can pick up on eBay for less than £50 now. Put OS X on it (Tiger would be fine), and then set that up as the PC he can log in to. Then he can benefit from learning Mac OS X (a far superior OS IMHO)
