Question Fit Reversing Camera or Not ?

I'm contemplating fitting a reversing camera, after all I now have the single din in place with necessary leads to do this. But! is it really worthwhile doing or is it just another gadget giving amusement for a while and then never used

I'm also unsure of where to locate it. I've read through the threads and just under the handle as Christopher has done seems the most probably place. Has anyone fitted a camera elsewhere Perhaps somewhere where it isn't so obvious !

All thoughts welcome.

its a great addition and if you have the bits go for it, its easy to get the wires into the boot and pick up from the reversing light, mine is in the same place as Christophers as i like it there and simple to fit, the infra red is really good, put in reverse when dark wait a few seconds and its as if a torch is being switched on behind the car

Has anyone done this on a tourer? I have the OE highline satnav which has a reverse camera input, but I'm not sure where to fit the camera.

I use mine all the time.

You'd be horrified at what you DON'T see when reversing just relying on mirrors or eyeball

I will second that, worth its weight in gold when hooking up the caravan on my own

I would fit it through the tailgate and the top centre of the numberplate, with carefull filing it would be a perfect fit, and look part of the numberplate. I am contemplating doing it to my boot. When I get a tourer like yours Duncan that will be the place for it.
