Milder today with grey skies & rain I might take the bubble wrap off the seedlings in the greenhouse before they peg out because of low light.

Good golly Miss Molly looks chilled Jeff Little Louis scarpered yesterday when the boiler guys were drilling & hammering shot into the back of the wardrobe

I thought that only cockneys and Yorkshire folk droped their "H"'s! Just don't drop the bike! Wind not too bad here but lots of watter overneet! Her indoors is out for the day, so some guitar practise may be the order of the day. The rise and fall of fingers blunt!

It's the Samsung keyboard I can't get on with, apple was fine! Strangely enough I've picked up a six string this week for the first time in over 20 years, the fingers are starting to remember where all the chords are!!

Thank you for the update Jeff and it’s great news from you about your eyesight, so, so precious. Please keep us posted and keep well.

Yesterday I had several lesions “iced” from the top of my head. Next Wednesday, another lesion is to be cut from my shoulder as it’s brown and irregular in shape, then biopsied as a precaution.

On our small holding we have 3 dogs, all of them are working dogs and there are 3 farm cats - they kill the rats, mice and lizards, they also like to chase the birds.

The cats and dogs lead an active life, they eat well and if they get sick or injured, it’s the vet for them. The dogs are canny and whenever I am walking in the forest on my own, it’s never too long before I am not on my own as the dogs will be along to protect me, that is down to their sense of smell and loyalty.

As you know because of where we live, we have 3 guards at night. In their culture, dogs are dirty and not to be touched, whereas cats are respected and revered. How diverse and strange the world can be.

Just about to get organised for (hopefully) Maya’s final vet visit. Getting a sample earlier turned out to be considerably easier than anticipated!

Good job getting the sample Steve, Hope all goes well with Maya at the vets.
Are we done with the frozen stuff? Hope so I've been potting on lots of seedlings in the greenhouse & it's St Patrick's day tomorrow, That's the cue for planting out the first earlies seed taters, so no more frosts please

Ain't it funny how the most expensive seeds you buy have the worst germination rates, out of 50 African giant daisy seeds there are around half a dozen that have germinated & they look as if they're on their last legs

Went kinda so-so. Her temp is normal, I know she's more or less back to her "normal" self but there's still traces of the infection in her pee. More antibiotics and anti inflammatory and another appointment in a week . . . . see if I do so well getting a sample again!

She's starting to go off the vets, not so keen on going through the door this time . . . . probably because they keep shoving a thermometer up her ar..
