Default Kangaroo fuel and clicking under heavy load

Does anyone have any thoughts on what could be causing this on my ZTT CDTi? First noticed when towing our caravan up a prelonged hill this weekend, it feels like a reduction in power and accompanied by a clicking, seems to coming from the offside draftshaft inner CV joint area. Outer joint was recently changed due to a knocking sound which was cured, but now starting to suspect the inner one, either that or the timing chain?!?

The clutch isn't that old, only 40k miles and a genuine LUK was fitted, and doesn't feel like it slipping so I don't think that is the issue... The clicking sound is very pronounced BTW

Hopefully a member with Real Knowledge of the Diesel Engine will pop along Soon

I've read on here of issues with the Crankshaft Pulley on the Diesels - I'm not sure if this would Cause the Symptoms you are experiencing - if i'm not mistaken it's in the rough location of where your noise appears to come from, and along with your mention of the Timing Chain could relate to your symptoms
