Default Thank you to Brit Cars

Many thanks to Bev Miles and the crew for allowing me to post the announcement sent out last Sunday the 5th about the opening of our new home.

As a matter of common courtesy.

For those that are unaware, among many other attributes Bev is the person that organised the first Longbridge rally, shortly after the closure announcements. A privilege to have taken part and even more so a brief introduction.

Our Beverley's a lady, alright!

I could point you in the direction of a picture but, well, got to respect her privacy!

Totally agree there Martin. On both counts

Bevs pic was all over the press at the time and tons more posted on various forums and internet sites in relation to the rallies. So if anybody was bothered they could easily find pics of the lady in question.
She appears in at least one on my Mac.com site. from the pre rally meet at Gaydon.
Alternatively go and get your suspenders adjusted and meet the lady in person.

I looked much smarter for the first rally !!!!!

Just for the record she was the figurehead behind both Longbridge Rallies and in the run up and during both her phone was redhot with loads of press people trying to get a statement from her. During the 1st rally my wife to be was her passenger and mobile PA while me and 6000 other MGR workers where being told not to worry.
BTW Beverley is now my boss so be carefull what you say

I think Toots is angling for a raise Bev

about the T shirt.

I knew you were the figurehead at the Gaydon do, but I thought perhaps wrongly that someone else did the organising.

Anyway let's not get into any of that old tripe here. Enough politics we are here to have fun and support each other with our favourite toys.

Good to have you on board toots.

Hello, Toots! Nice to see you over here, too! Our ZT-T owning resident expert on paintshop matters at Longbridge, and now MG Rover suspension specialist at Leda!
