I'm with you Geoff,we're not all adept at using computers are we. I'm quite a dinosaur with all these electronic gizmos.
I just took a couple of pics 1.7mb each and posted them straight onto my thread on Pontiac Owners Club forum with just a couple of clicks.
Didn't have to resize them, use another photo site or anything. Just browse computer for image, click on image I wanted and add to forum thread.
Pic was posted onto my forum thread in the right size automatically.
No drame,no messing or faffing about

Be good to be able to do the same on here !

You can do pretty much that on here, I keep saying it but no one listens, you don't need any other software, just access to your hard drive (or memory card) and the ability to post here. Of course you do need to have a small amount of savy but once you've done it a few times it becomes second nature.

Well here you go, go to pictures upload and I’ll bet it’s a stupid thumbnail that uploads. Most of us have savvy but it’s not as simple as you make it out to be

I always thought you had to be a 'red' member to use the club's image server?

Yes you have to be, there is no 'attach file' menu, if you are a blue member.

Now the same picture using Tapatalk, kind of blows your argument away, this forum could be made as easy as the others are to uploaded but for some reason they refuse to do it or acknowledge points made

I have exactly the same problem. To get a photo to upload, it has to be downsized so much, it is all but useless.

Here is a picture using Vanburstas way of doing pictures.

I think it works quite well if you remember to do the last bit of his How To
