Default Exhaust system CDTI

Hello everyone,
The exhaust system from a CDTI has a clamp between the catalytic converter and the muffler? Or it needs to cut it somewhere and put a clamp on?
Thanks!

The original factory fit exhaust system was one piece with no clamps.

Thanks!
What it's the pipe diameter?
THIS clamp will fit over the pipe and hold it together? Because I need to cut the exhaust somewhere and the clamp it's needed.
Also, the screw nut holding the pipe from the turbo are 15mm?
Thanks a lot!
