ZTT 190 exhaust diameter
Hi to save jacking the car in the street in this weather what would be the size of the exhaust at the flange between the rear box and centre section, the flange rotted and nephew cut it off and fitted a 60mm joiner but this left it too short so slips off the rear hangers, so hope to get a 64x60 flanged tube to repair it ?
Thanks

I had a nightmare of a job ,trying to get the correct size to fit the new rear silencer that i had bought. Rimmers sizes were not the sizes that were fitted to my Kv6 original st/st system.Mine was the 190 !! I ended up buying a flare set to open up the join , so be very careful on your sizes . Dont assume what it is or should be . Measure it yourself properly I.D and O.D is my advice ! You can also use another pipe joiner in there somewhere , i would think. There are some on the bay exactly the same as rimmers but cheaper of course. They do have a range of sizes that each one will accommodate within its scope. Some of these cars were fitted with parts that were for different engine specs i think , if and when spares were short , upon assembly . Good luck ...
