Default Heater (ATC) Problems

Just noticed today that the heater on the Passenger side doesn't get warm, it just blows cool air out of the footwell, the driver side is fine and gets really hot, does anyone know what I should be looking at (I don't think its the matrix otherwise there would be no heat on the drivers side)

Could be the flap packed up opening, or the motor packed up.

I thought on ATC that the temperature was controlled by a flap opening / closing and allowing more / less heated air through, as per bl52krz answer above.

Does anyone have an exploded diagram of the heater and what are the button presses for the diagnostic mode?

The passenger side of the matrix is the first to silt up. This doesn't stop the right hand side from working because of the way it's constructed.
