Personally I think 'None of the above' should be an option on all ballots - but that's only my opinion

My chemistry teacher said that we should all vote, no matter what and if we couldnt decide who to vote for then just write none of the above, he said it is better than not voting.

I dont really understand why its better than not voting, but I voted anyway

Hoping for the best but if who I voted for don't win I wont be upset.

Looks like not everyone who tried to vote managed to.
If everybody had turned out the polling stations wouldn't have coped!!

Poor loves...they only had a 15 hour window of opportunity...clearly insufficient for voters...

Mind you....if they WERE there before 10pm they should be allowed to vote....somehow I don't think all the polling stations are going to deal with this in the same way.....recipe for disaster...

Just hearing about this at the count and it is truly dreadful, the Electorate Commission will have a lot to answer for after tonight. Where I am looks like my hard work is paying off should declare around 2:00 am.

Minus the time at work for those who work and time travelling to and from work.
So for a lot of people we are already down to a 5 hour window for a 8 hour working day and a lot less on for anyone working 12 hours.

I don't think the issue has been the time window the polling stations where open for but that the polling stations not being able to cope with the number of voters at the peak turnout times. Ie between 6 and 10pm
