A new automobile.
Its diesel, needs a new thermostat and hasn't got a clutch cable or a clutch release bearing. Any ideas??

LOL, that would be interesting, expecially if I leave the rust and 13" wheels on it! I have asked a couple of questions. I need something that I can transport dogs and things without getting upset about muddy interiors. The only plans would be to get the rust done. Can't afford an expensive restoration and I hope it wouldn't need it being only 1999 year. I think this is one of the Ledbury Maestros so is registered as a kit car and not Rover Group manufactured.

My father had a Marina estate as a company car years ago. What I remember most about it was the astounding selection of spare nuts, bolts and screws under the matting in the rear Build quality . . . . wassat

Drive it about a bit in first gear with the clutch pedal held down. In a circle, on and off the throttle. Or squirt WD 40 through the clutch arm hole onto the clutch body. Won't hurt it. Leave a few days for it to soak in.
If you can get a push before you turn the key, so much the better. |
