Well. I have the software in question loaded on my laptop and an interface ready and waiting for me to find the time to try it out. The first time I use it to do anything on my car I shall make a donation. Sure it won't be a king's ransom but if it giives me the option to read codes accurately or change options (not I that I need any changed) then I figure it's worth a tenner of anyones money. If I ever get around to the 160 upgrade it will be a T4 guy that does it. Even if TOAF offered this I simply would not risk it. Leave it to the guys who know what they are doing 100% and can fix anything that doesn't go to plan.
I think it is an awful shame that this software that has promise for those of us who simply can not get anywhere near a T4 has generated so much pain. It is all wrong. On a final note I would like to say this. The traders we have on here are a blessing to us all. They are not just traders they are guys who time and time again go the extra mile when there is no obligation upon them to do so. If I had my way these traders fees would half every year they traded until they were reduced to normal member subscription. After all, do they really need to remind us all they are traders? They are an asset and deserve to be rewarded for the contribution that is made to keeping our cars on the road and I'm sure it would make life far easier on them (not for us) to walk away from the while thing. Thanks and you've made me blush
In all honesty I hope there is peace on the boards now. Lets get back to enjoying or slagging off our old bangers and not getting on one another's goat

I would like to propose a solution. Every few weeks, someone starts a new thread about some imginary but highly innovative development which may help MGR owners keep their cars on the road. It will act as the honeypot for all the, shall we say, less than positive/supportive members/traders. Then we hope that the genuinely genuine and useful developments will go unnoticed and under the radar. |

Brian is back (said the same way as Brian Blessed in Flash Gordon)....
That's great news and I can already feel the injection of morale being spread throughout the club. If anything Brian returning as a trader is proof that T4 is alive and kicking and hasn't been superseded or beaten down by TOAF. My ZTT suddenly feels alive again....

DONE: HAD A CRAZY IDEA THAT I HAD TO GET RID OF MY MG ZTT DUE TO NOT HAVING A DRIVE AND HAVING TO PARK ON A BUSY STREET WITH A VIEW TO GETTING ANOTHER ONE AT A LATER DATE WHEN I HAVE A DRIVE. ENDED UP REALISING IT REALLY ISN'T PRACTICAL NOT HAVING A CAR TO GET AROUND AND I NOW OWN A VW EOS 3.2 V6 INDIVIDUAL (1 OF 20 REMAINING IN THE UK WITH THAT ENGINE AND TRIM COMBO) EVEN THOUGH I STILL LIVE ON A BUSY ROAD WITHOUT A DRIVE |
