Left Clacton at 08.30 and have just arrived at Thurrock Lakeside shopping Mall.
Yey, my first sighting of proper (ish) snow



Still not exactly much but it's the most I have seen and its still snowing now so may start to accumulate during the day

It has Just started snowing here in Leicester again, topping up the 6cm we already had from Friday more snow for my winter tyres

Nuneaton snowing again, still out in it working. Can't feel my toes.Took this yesterday on my morning rounds.

Just back from Lakeside and ........Yes, for the first time this year it has started to Snow in Clacton

Not a lot at the moment but it looks like it could be snowing all day so it may accumulate

Seaside towns are protected from light snowfalls by the amount of salt that gets deposited everywhere by onshore winds innit...

Had a light dusting here last Friday, pretty much all gone now, pond pump still pumping water up the fountain pipe. still blimmen cold though... brrrrr
...

Tell that to the North Sea facing seaside towns of Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Suffolk
In Fact Essex if you go past Holland On Sea into Frinton and Walton.
Just this year seamed to miss us......Until today
