Default Oil mixed in coolant CDTi

Hello, a guy in Italy is telling me that he has found oil in the coolant. He told me also that he changed the intercooler and still got the same problem. A mechanic told him to swap his engine with a ggod used one.
Any other suggestion from this side?
Thanks

HI Canio
he needs to look at the oil cooler most likely the seal gaskets have failed.

The mechanic obviously knows the stately home of Lord and Lady Pharque - Pharque Hall.

Hello Canio,
Agree oil cooler. Had it twice on CDTIs I run.

Tip on here to use orange juice to clean the coolant system. Without pulp of course.... Did that and worked a treat

Yes and lots of Rovering as we do! You are ok as well I hope.

Commuting has changed, Zero DS Motorcycle, yes fully electric. Incredible acceleration, but for any other trips enjoying any of the Rovers and the in TVR when I feel like making lots of RV8 noise - especially in tunnels

Another vote for that pesky Oil Cooler or the gasket used when fitting.
We seem to be selling a lot of these lately - the cold weather seems to have finished a few off!

We have the Oil Cooler and Gasket as a set here: https://www.dmgrs.co.uk/products/rov...oler-pbc101370

Alternatively, just the Gasket here: https://www.dmgrs.co.uk/collections/...sket-lyx100680
