I've had 7 dents put in my car since getting it earlier this year and the majority of the time I park in child's parking as I have 2 young children. At tesco the other day a woman parked on a pedestrian walkway next to my car and I had to pull my car out to get my youngest daughter into the car in her car seat the space was that tight

OP, get the cctv footage and go straight to the police with it. The instigator will be charged with leaving the scene of an accident as well as their insurance having to cough up. A supermarket car park is considered to be the queen's highway by the road traffic act as it's a public place.

Shopping snobbery makes me laugh. Until we moved to Germany, we used to shop almost exclusively at Tesco or Morrisons. In their absence, we used Extra, Edeka and Aldi in Germany. Since moving back, we use Aldi all the time and Tesco much less frequently. Aldi's products are far better than Tesco's own brand stuff and easily as good as the premium brands. Snobbery is fine if you can afford it, 99% of the clowns in Sainsbury's can't. I don't mind paying for quality, that's why I'd still shop at Aldi if it were more expensive than Sainsburys. Waitrose is another matter.

As Ross says, this shop snobbery is daft. In my area, you either go to Tesco, or the Co-op, because they're the only shops in the two most local towns. To get to anything other than those two, I need to travel to Dumfries, which is a 30 mile round trip. There isn't even a Sainsbury's there.
At uni, Sainsbury's is nearest, but I tend to got to Morrisons, because I reckon the quality, and prices to be better. The UK has a bit of an obsession with brands, which means that if you're savvy, you can make big savings.
Hope the OP gets his mirror sorted.

I will Fraser, if there's ever a break in this God awful weather I'll do Parker's fix with the bolt and washers. Before this happened I bought a set of powerfolds from Wullie in Cumnock, just need to arrange a mutually suitable time to go over after Christmas, Wullie's going to give me a hand fitting them.

I see "OP" mentioned a lot.
I've wracked my brains and come up with "Original Poster".
Am I close?

OP isn't a term I use, to my mind it's lazy. I'll use either the screen name or make the effort to go into the profile and find their first name if it's listed.

Try telling that one to your insurance company.
