Just a quick point. I notice a few posts with 23 years or 40 years NCB!! I had this argument with my insurance and if you put anything down other than 9, you have to be able to prove it by way of a statement from your previous insurer saying, for example, you have 20 years NCB. Since no insurer does that (the max is usually 9) they will declare your insurance invalid!

What car are you insured on? MG ZR 2.0TD & MG ZT190
What company are you insured with? Lancaster Classic What is your insurance costing you? £ Circa £500 for them BOTH What age are you? Over 21 What gender are you? Male Last time I checked I was anyway! What country/area do you live? England/a nice one in S Yorks How many years ncb? Maximum Is it protected? No Car value? ZR = £2000ish ZT = £1000ish Whats the millage limitations? Max of 8k on each Any policy restrictions / benefits? Classic insurance policy does not use or generate NCD Fully comp / third party etc? FC Penalty points? 3 Declared mods? Both chipped For me, this years quote where shocking. Was with the Post Office, but I wasnt going back to them after they made a massive admin error that caused me NOT to be on the motor insurance database. For nearly 8 months despite the fact my direct debit was coming out, if I hadn't of tried to tax my car over the phone in January I wouldn't have known. God knows what would have happened in an accident! That happened to me every year for 3 years with Adrian Flux, despite their assurances it would not happen again. So I spent my money elsewhere.
