i watch a lot of d.i.y programes on t.v , not that we have much choice nowadays, the thing is when did a room become a rum, ive drank many rums[ ex navy ]but never sat in one.

A room is called a rum?

Not where I live. People still say room.

Don't start me off!!! Pet hates abound, I must be getting grumpy! Why oh why do people say things along the lines of 'I don't want to LOOSE money on this'. My money is not loose, it is secure and tightened up in my pocket, otherwise I would LOSE it.

Well the Swedish for room is just..... rum. Some scandinavian influense

I use toast crumbs as an excuse for my bad typing. usually works !

I have to say, on a similar theme.......

All the shows where people sell their worldly goods or buy to try and sell at a profit.

Why do most presenters insist on calling it an "oction"!!

Drives me insane

And what about the National Glarse Center in Sunderland it's GLASS not GLARSE
