Default Front brake pad wear sensor fitting

Hi when the hub was off we discovered that the sensor was broken and taped up, so replacement ordered and while waiting for delivery I wondered if it was just a push fit at the pads, so asking how it fits?
Thanks

Yes it just pushes in,there is a horse shoe shaped copper contact watch for it popping off, be firm but not brutal and push it in as squarely as possible

Just cut and join the wires at the plug. I have eyes to check pads 😎

There's always one, isn't there!

At least Ronnie didn't call it an 'upgrade'.

Rob,

This device is sprung with the intention that it remains fitted to the sensor end. However it can get left behind in the brake pad during withdrawal. As Sean says, it may also make a leap for freedom and end up on the ground somewhere.

Hi Ron.
Like this you mean strip wires back twist together and add a little heat shrink, then plug it back in.
