Retrofit IPK
Is it possible (and at what cost) to upgrade from a club se to connoisseur by retrofitting an IPK? What is entailed in the procedure? Mileage of receiving vehicle is just below 80,000 miles. All my Rovers have had said unit so I’m not sure what having/not having one would be like. All contributions welcomed.

An IPK can be fitted easily via T4, you need a new (Or virginised unit) Then a quick T4 session to code it in and away you go
You will of course need the stalk with the computer button on.

Not sure if I understand correctly but you may need to change the instrument cluster for one that has the IPK and then do as trikey mentions, have a T4 session carried out and also replace the indictor stalk for one that has the button on the end. A replacement cluster can be picked up from a scrap yard. Easy job to do but expect the IPK screen to have lines and need replacing. Changing the cluster is an easy job.
Cluster £10? T4? replacement IPK screen, fitted, £140? Indicator stalk £5? The T4 session will transfer all data from your cluster to the replacement. At the same time, you may be able to have the digital speedo activated. macafee2 |

A trip to Thurrock for a new IPK is on the list for later this year for me if you still have any left then Rick-sta. For various reasons I don't think this is in the stars until September-ish but I'll PM you then.

Hello Rick. What would be the cost for this approximately please. Send a pm if this is sensitive information. When you move to Norfolk is this still something you would be able to undertake?
