Default Service time again.

In a few weeks I need to change the filters on me diesel 75.
The company I usually use has gone bust.
What I need is Genuine Air, Oil and Fuel filters for my 2003 Diesel 75.
Is there any member who can recommend a company who can supply these GENUINE filters as a kit or together without trying to rip me off?
A price including delivery would help please.
I would rather use the forums help as appose to search Ebay or the net.

Try dmgrs, they have offers going on depending on what you want to replace.

Here you go.

You are absolutely right to want genuine filters. There are a lot of poor quality filters on the market.

For the oil filter, Hengst or Mann are excellent alternatives. I would not fit anything other than the genuine diesel filter made by Knetch. From memory it is a KC85.

I tend to think that WIX, Mahle and Bosch are all ok. The only make I would have serious doubts about is Crosland.

Agreed.

Overall, I would use genuine or Mahle, Mann, Bosch, Hengst for the air and oil filters. For the diesel fuel filter, I see no reason to use anything other than OEM Knetch bearing in mind that what comes out of the filter goes into a very precisely manufactured and expensive HP pump.

I would have very serious doubts about everything else. Don't know about WIX.

what is genuine? Something that comes in a Rover logo box?
DMGRS as mentioned but Euro Car Parts do items from long and well established companies.

Genuine MGR is something distributed by the official MGR parts supplier, in this case X-Part.

The same parts as in the MGR parts distributor's boxes are also genuine when purchased as the part directly e.g. the Knetch KC85 diesel filter is genuine even when purchased in a Knetch box.

It's important that we support fellow members wishing to purchase genuine parts. Otherwise the manufacturers of the genuine parts will stop making them and ultimately only cheap tat will be available.

You may know that I am passionate about this genuine thing. If the item is made today by macafee2 engineering that only came into existence 31/01/2022 and put into a rover logo box or sold to an official MGR parts supplier I cannot see how anyone would consider it genuine.

Rover went to the wall years ago, I doubt there will be any filters made and supplied to Rover or their parts supplier when Rover went to the wall into left on the shelves.
OEM and pattern part filters in abundance but genuine???

Genuine commands a higher price, you are paying a higher price for something macafee2 engineering made today, are you happy with that?

It goes back to my question and is really for the OP to make a decision on, what is genuine?
