How times have changed on here.
When I first started here a few years back-
Everyone would wet themselves at the site of- serpent alloys power fold retrofits Cruise control retrofits Rover Ron boxes... Now it's all about keeping the cars on the road, one thing remains though, the information on here is extremely valuable, the contacts I gave gained on here are priceless and in my opinion well worth £10 a year. |

All down to personal choice, I wouldn't mod for the heck of it, no 'must have's' for me. I don't have serpents, auto dim mirrors, powerfolds, heated/electric seats or rain sensing wipers. The car still has a high spec though.

I think it just goes to show how things change as our cars get older. The youngest ones will soon be 10 years old.

Modding is perhaps something I'll have to look into... if the ZS ever stops eating all of my money.
So far it's been a battle just to keep her moving - but these are the joys of having a high-mileage car that's been ignored service-wise by previous owners.

Is it just me or do serpent alloys look a bit feminine with their little curls ?
I went down the powerfold road. Never again

I'm intrigued re your Powerfold comment as I have then OEM on my 75 and I've bought a set from Tam (god bless his soul) to retrofit on my 260. Was there problems on retrofitting ? I am hoping to attend a nano later this year where those that know can hopefully assist. Door removal to fit is beyond me. |
