Default Damn Pheasant - Could have been worse...

On my way back from the maternity ward this evening, a pheasant decided to kamikaze the car, damage could have been worse I suppose...

Make sure that you get all the glass out before you roast it!

Sadly for it, I took one out once, pulled up and the wife shouted "it'll be dead" she was right, but she kicked up a fuss when I said "it's going in the freezer"; she wasn't economically minded.

After a quick 45 minute session, all sorted now:

Took the opportunity to replace the xenon bulbs as well, replacing the slightly blue tinge ones I ordered in error and fitted a while ago, with some nice white 5300K.

Lost count of the number of feathers I've had to remove from the grill... pheasants 2 a penny on Exmoor.... now on Thursday I missed a Roe Deer by less than a foot... Roast Venison was on my mind, but it would have done serious damage to the poor old car I expect... :-(

Same here but wasn't quite sure if they were bird feathers or Red Indians. I had hit.

You can eat the pheasant that someone else has hit , (roadkill) but not the one YOU hit . So get them to ask you round for the roast meal .
